A Piano at Grand Central Station
On February 6, 2017, a Steinway will resound in the Vanderbuilt Hall of the famous Grand Central Station in New York. Célimène will perform at an evening tribute to the great American architect John Belle.
John Belle (died in September 2016) was one of the great architects behind the preservation and renovation of New York City, including Grand Central Station. For John Belle, the preservation of an architectural heritage was one of the highest forms of citizenship. His mission was to instill new life into the great public spaces in order to enrich the lives of people and communities.
John Belle was a great music lover, in love with classical music, jazz and curious about all music. In this emblematic place of New York’s thriving, moving New York life, Celimène chose to play Chopin.
